When is an estate plan charged?

For a practice led Estate Plan, the fee is charged when the practice starts the plan.For a client led Estate Plan, the fee applies when the client completes the process and asks the practice to assist with lawyer selection.Direct lawyer referrals do not attract a platform fee.

Are legal fees included?

No. Inherit’s platform fees are separate from the legal fees charged for preparing estate planning documents.The lawyer provides the client with a separate quote before commencing the legal work.

No. Your Inherit fees are based on your selected pricing option.Additional services or legal work are clearly priced or quoted separately before proceeding.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

No. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.Practice plans are billed monthly. PAYG estate plans are charged at the applicable per-plan rate.

Can I change pricing plans?

Yes. Most practices begin with PAYG and move to a Practice plan as their estate planning volume grows.You can also speak with us about a Custom plan if your practice requires greater volume, multiple practice accounts, reporting or integrations.

What happens if I exceed the plans included in my Practice plan?

Your team can continue starting estate plans without interruption.Additional practice led estate plans are charged at $99 plus GST per plan once your monthly allowance has been used.

Do unused estate plans carry over?

Practice plan starts from $250+GST per month, which includes 3 estate plans. Unused included plans carry over for up to one month.Carry-over applies only to unused plan allocations. It is not a cash credit and has no refund value. Your carry-over balance may be adjusted or reset if you change or cancel your plan.Carry-over arrangements for Custom plans are agreed as part of your package.

How does Life Vault access work?

PAYG clients receive Life Vault access while they are connected to an active estate planning matter.Practice plans include broader Life Vault access, allowing the practice to provide Life Vaults to clients as part of an ongoing estate planning service.

Question 9

Are direct lawyer referrals free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Advisers can refer a client directly to a lawyer through Inherit without paying an estate plan platform fee.The lawyer may charge the client separately for legal advice and document preparation.

Am I locked into a long-term contract?

No. Practice plans operate month to month.You can change or cancel your Practice plan by providing 30 days’ notice. Custom plan terms are agreed separately.

Is there a setup fee?

There is no compulsory setup fee for practices starting on PAYG.

Do you charge for training?

Accepted Answer

Guided onboarding is included. If your team can complete the onboarding independently, there is no compulsory training charge. Additional assistance is available when required.

Your practice can configure its own branding as part of the setup process without paying a separate branding fee. Any additional custom design or implementation work will be discussed and quoted before proceeding.

Yes. Inherit supports practice website integration, allowing clients to begin the engagement process through your existing website.

Can we use our existing lawyer?
